Obama: I never used Twitter

While talking to a group of Chinese during his recent visit to China, US president Mr. Barack Obama was asked about the great firewall in China and twitter. Obama was asked by a student, "Do you know about the great firewall and should we be able to use Twitter?" His reply: " I have never used Twitter but I'm an advocate of technology and not restricting internet access ." He's never used Twitter! Shocking, given that his account with 2.6 million followers has even been "verified" by Twitter headquarters! This is interesting considering the Internet, and social media in particular, was considered a large part of his ascension to the Presidency. Obviously, he had a killer team around him that was able to embrace the web without the then-Senator getting too much involved. The pay-TV provider Bskyb is all set to provide live football matches to iPhone users in UK. The matches can be watched over a wi-fi connection for £6 a month. Besides the Premier League, users can also watch Scottish football, cricket and golf via Sky's new application. BSkyB, which is 39%-owned by Rupert Murdoch's News Corp, has been launching applications for news and sports to try to expand its reach on mobile devices.
